To get a better understanding of comic covers I decided to research both independent and mainstream comic covers. This allows me to understand the concept and the layout when designing my own cover for the comic and this will be shown in my own scamps. I decided to copy both independent and mainstream comic covers as this allows me to compare the difference between the two genre.
