Timeline

To get a better understanding of comics I created a timeline full of different artists within the comic industry. This further widens my research as not only am I able to view other artists work but it gives me more artists to further research and consider drawing styles. This also allows me to start comparing the different styles between mainstream and independent artists. 

Mindmap

To begin this unit I started by creating a mind map to display initial ideas relating to illustration. I knew that illustration was the starting point however I didn't know which direction to go in therefore by creating a mind map I was able to see the different options and not limit myself. 

Once I had create an illustration mind map I decided to mind map the different factors of comics such as the development, genres and the different artists which contribute to comics.
